Covid 19 has affected many people across the globe. Many small businesses have had to close their doors and families are going without income. Even worse, some families' health have been affected and lives have been stolen. I think we all have a good understanding of how the coronavirus has afflicted numerous trails in our lives and even our economy but today we would like to speak on behalf of our beautiful in love couples.

Our hearts break for the families who have been robbed of celebrations this year, for any reasons, but to celebrate love in particular. Weddings hold such a sweet place in our hearts. Many brides and grooms who have been affected by the coronavirus have had to postpone, replan, or even elope without their loved ones. Due to social distancing and the stay at home ordinance. Some couples even being left without the ability to document their weddings, or should we say elopements, due to photographers being deemed as a nonessential business. Meaning your photographer may risk a hefty fine by our government if we so choose to break these orders. Over here at Meagan’s Photographs, we have been extremely careful and abiding by this “temporary” new found normal. The safety of our community and the wellbeing for your families is worth so much more to us than a “front porch” session or a couple hundred bucks here or there. We would love to see our couples who are still planning to get married, as well as the couples who have had to postpone, have the privilege to celebrate with their loved ones later in the year once again. If that means staying locked in our homes now.. Then we would truly love to see everyone do just that. With all of this being said we would love to give a little inspiration to the couples who may be pivoting in a new direction with their wedding. Luckly, we will have the ability to start opening our sessions back up in the next couple weeks- slowly and safely that is. But for many venues and restaurants may still be left in the unknown. So today I would love to show you a bit of magic that we had the great pleasure of being able to photograph. We present the most magnificent backyard wedding that the lovely bride, Katie, and groom, Zach, planned in just under one month. Yup! You read that right. These two love birds booked everything from their engagement photographs to wedding in just over a month.

How? I am sure you are wondering. With a whole lot of Jesus and some help from friends and family of course. They threw the best backyard wedding celebration right in the front and side yard of Katie’s parents house and the result was nothing short of a fairytale. So if you are looking to find a new venue for your wedding, you may be looking just a tad bit too far away. When in fact all you magic could happen right in your own backyard..
